2. We Come to You
Our Workplace Wellness practitioner, Dr. Tinsley, arrives with everything needed for the day. All that's required is a quiet room where employees can relax during their sessions.
3. Employees Enjoy Their Session
Treatments are typically 20 to 30 minutes. Employees remain fully clothed and relax in a zero-gravity reclining chair. No prior acupuncture experience is necessary and first-timers are always welcome.

Meet Your Balance Acupuncture Practitioner, Dr. Tinsley Berry
Dr. Tinsley is the lead practitioner for our Workplace Wellness program. She's a licensed acupuncturist with a doctorate from Maryland University of Integrative Health and a background in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
She specializes in Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a special interest in helping people navigate stress, anxiety, burnout, and the physical demands of everyday life.
Patients are often drawn to Tinsley's warm, calming presence and her ability to make acupuncture feel approachable, even for people who are trying it for the first time. She loves creating a space where people can slow down, take a breath, and reconnect with themselves.
Her goal is to help people feel better in their bodies and make wellness feel accessible, sustainable, and enjoyable- in and out of the workplace!
New to Acupuncture? You're in Good Hands.
If your workplace is hosting on-site acupuncture and you're feeling a little unsure, that's completely normal. Most people who come to a workplace session have never tried acupuncture before.
You don't need to prepare anything or know anything going in. Tinsley will take it from there, and she loves working with first-timers. If you have questions or hesitations before or during your session, just ask. There are no silly questions.
What to Expect
Tinsley arrives at your office and sets up a comfortable, private treatment space. In the space, two or three zero gravity recliner chairs will be used, along with a small table for treatment supplies. Each employee has a brief intake conversation before their session, then relaxes while needles are placed at targeted acupuncture points, often on the hands, feet, and ears. Most people feel noticeably calmer within minutes.
Sessions last 20 to 30 minutes. No special clothing or preparation is needed. Your safety and comfort are always our priority. Tinsley uses sterile, single-use needles and follows Clean Field Technique protocols, the nationally recognized standard for safe acupuncture practice. Essential oils or ear seeds may be included to enhance the session.

Do employees need to have used acupuncture before?
Not at all. Tinsley will walk every employee through what to expect before their session begins.
Will employees need to fill out paperwork?
Yes. Employees will review and complete a brief consent form and intake before treatment. The paperwork covers safety information and explains what to expect during the session, so everyone can feel informed and comfortable, especially if it's their first time trying acupuncture.
What space do you need?
A quiet room large enough for a couple of chairs or a portable table. A conference room or private office works perfectly. We bring everything else.
Is it safe?
Yes. Tinsley uses sterile, single-use needles and follows all professional safety protocols. Acupuncture is recognized as safe and effective by the World Health Organization and the National Institutes of Health.
Can we offer this as an employee benefit?
Absolutely. Many organizations incorporate Workplace Wellness visits into their benefits packages. We can provide documentation for HR purposes upon request.
