Acupuncture for Kids

Acupuncture is wonderful for your little ones, and many will quickly come to love their visits with us! We recognize that every child is unique and we create treatment plans to meet the individual needs of each child. In creating a wellness plan, our number one priority is your child's comfort, while also making sure they receive an effective treatment during their visit. 

We use the tiniest needles for infants and kids, with extremely gentle needling technique. Needles are not retained in infants and young children, and only a very few points are used. No need to worry about needle fear! We also use non-needle techniques that are just as effective. Kids enjoy using the tuning fork, smelling the essential oils, and experiencing pediatric tui na Chinese massage and cupping.

Our goal is for treatments to be engaging and educational for both the child and parents. Parents will learn at-home techniques to enhance the treatment and support the health of their family, and children will become familiar with all the fun, new things that can make them feel better. Children are full of "yang" energy, so they can respond very quickly to treatments and generally only need a few visits to resolve an issue.

Initial visits are $90 and are up to 45 minutes. Return sessions are $65 and are up to 30 minutes, dependent on modalities used.
